Youth Trapper of the Year
Rules for youth trapper of the year are the same as trapper of the year, with the following exception:
  1. Nominees must be fourteen and under.
  2. Nominees do not have to be a member if one of their relatives is a member.
The purpose of the youth trapper award is more geared to encouraging young people to continue their interest in trapping and conservation as well as that kind of behavior that produces future leaders that support trapping and other compatible wildlife management practices.
